Other Engineering

The Disciplines Menu on this site lists six major types of engineers or engineering degree programs.  But it's not really that simple.  There are many other types of engineers besides the six major categories shown in the menu and there are many engineers with a background in more than one of these disciplines. 

For example, there may be electrical, mechanical, or materials engineers who specialize in the aerospace industry, and there are also those whose degree is in aerospace engineering, which includes a background in all three of those areas. 

Some of the other engineering programs include Nuclear Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering.  We will continue to add information on these other programs, so check back later.
